CARE Nursing is an independent exam-preparation service. We publish practice questions, rationales, clinical exhibits, mock exams and progress tools for candidates preparing for the NCLEX-RN, the NCLEX-PN/LVN, and state nurse aide (CNA) and Medication Aide certification.

We are not NCSBN, a state board of nursing, a state nurse aide registry or agency, a testing vendor, a nursing school or training program, an employer, or any licensing or certifying authority. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by any of them, and nothing on this site should be read as saying otherwise. Where we name an exam, an organisation or a regulation, we do so to describe what we prepare you for — not to claim any relationship with them.

By creating an account or buying access, you agree to these terms.

You need an account to buy and use paid access. Please give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and let us know at info@carenursingprep.com if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

An account is for one person — you. Please do not share your login or let other people study on your access. That is not us being difficult about you using your own account on your phone and your laptop, which is completely fine and expected; it is about one purchase being used by several people.

CARE Nursing sells one-time access plans. A plan is a single payment for a fixed number of days. Nothing renews automatically, nothing is a subscription, and there is nothing to cancel. When the access period ends, the paid practice content stops opening.

Each licensure credential is a separate product with its own question bank, bought separately: NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN, CNA, Medication Aide. Buying one does not give you access to another. Your account can hold several at the same time, and each one has its own plan and its own end date, tracked independently on your dashboard.

Each credential offers four plans — Starter, Basic, Premium, Complete — which differ in how much of the question bank you can reach and how long access lasts (Starter 7 days, Basic 30 days, Premium 90 days, Complete 180 days). The exact price, plan contents and length are shown on the pricing page before you buy.

We also sell preparation for nursing school admissions tests, which are not licensure credentials. These are separate products bought separately, and some of the rules below differ from the licensure rules — section 5 sets out exactly how, and it governs where the two disagree.

We do not offer perpetual or lifetime access, and we do not promise that any particular plan will remain available at a particular price in future.

This section describes the licensure credentials listed in section 3. Admissions-test plans such as ATI TEAS 7 upgrade on different terms, set out in section 5.

You can move up to a higher plan for the same credential at any time while your current plan is still running. What you paid for your current plan is credited toward the higher one, so you pay only the difference.

Credit applies within a single credential. What you paid for one credential does not reduce the price of a different one, because they are separate products with separate question banks.

An upgrade takes effect as soon as it is completed: the larger question bank and anything else the higher plan includes open up straight away. Your new access period runs for the higher plan’s full length starting from the upgrade — and upgrading will never take away access time you have already paid for. If you somehow had more time remaining than the new plan’s normal length, you keep the later of the two dates.

Upgrades only go up. We do not offer downgrades through the upgrade system, and buying a lower plan can never reduce a higher plan you are already on.

The ATI TEAS 7 is an admissions test, not a licensure exam — schools use it to decide entry to a nursing program. Preparation for it is sold as its own product, on the terms in this section. Where this section and sections 3 or 4 disagree, this section governs for admissions products.

CARE Nursing is an independent preparation provider and is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or sponsored by ATI. We name the exam only to identify what our material prepares you for. Every question, passage and explanation is our own original work. ATI publishes no passing score for the TEAS; each school sets its own requirement, and we do not set, influence or predict it.

TEAS plans are one-time purchases, like our other plans: a single payment for a fixed number of days, with nothing renewing automatically and nothing to cancel. The four plans are Starter ($29, 7 days); Basic ($59, 30 days); Premium ($99, 90 days); Complete ($149, 180 days). Exact plan contents are shown before you buy.

You hold one TEAS plan at a time, with one end date. While a plan is active you cannot buy a lower plan or buy the same plan again — a lower plan would add nothing you do not already have, and we do not currently sell an extension of a plan that is still running. We would rather refuse the purchase than take money for something that gives you nothing.

Upgrading a TEAS plan does not carry over your remaining days, and there is no credit for what you already paid.You pay the higher plan’s full listed price, the higher plan starts immediately, and its access period runs its full length from the upgrade. Days left on the plan you were on are not added on and are not refunded. This is different from the licensure credentials in section 4, and it is stated on the plan page before you pay. Everything you have already practised, answered and scored is kept.

Refunds on TEAS plans work exactly as section 6 describes, with the same conditions and the same 7-day window as our other products: the ATI TEAS 7 Starter plan is non-refundable, and Basic, Premium and Complete can be refunded within 7 days of the purchase being refunded. An upgrade is its own purchase with its own date.

When a TEAS plan ends, the paid practice content stops opening. Your account is not closed and nothing you did is deleted — your history and progress stay exactly where they were, and buying again picks up from there.

Every Starter plan is non-refundable — NCLEX-RN Starter, NCLEX-PN / LVN Starter, CNA / Nurse Aide Starter, Medication Aide Starter, ATI TEAS 7 Starter (currently the $19 and $29plans). You will see “No refunds” at checkout before you pay.

A plan’s refund status is fixed by which product and which tier it is, not by what it costs. If we ever change a price, that alone will not make a plan refundable or stop it being refundable — that would be a separate decision, and you would see the new terms here before buying.

Every other plan, on every product, can be refunded within 7 calendar days of purchase. To request one, email info@carenursingprep.com from the address on your account within that period and tell us which plan you bought. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

The 7-day period runs from the date of the purchase being refunded. An upgrade is its own purchase, with its own date and its own eligibility — so refunding an upgrade does not refund the plan you bought before it.

If a purchase is refunded, your access is recalculated from the purchases you still hold. In practice that means refunding an upgrade returns you to the plan you had before it, for the time that plan still had — you do not keep access you have been refunded for, and you do not lose access you legitimately still paid for.

CARE Nursing is a study aid. Using it does not guarantee that you will pass any examination, obtain a licence or certification, be eligible to sit an exam, or get a job. Those outcomes depend on you, your program, and the authorities that actually make those decisions.

Our practice questions and mock exams are written to prepare you for the real exam. They are not the real exam, are not copies of live exam items, and are not a reproduction of any exam’s content or scoring.

We report what we can actually measure — your real results, your performance by topic, your weakest topics and your history. We deliberately do not produce a predicted exam score or a claimed likelihood of passing. The NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN are computer-adaptive, and NCSBN does not publish the item-level data behind the scoring, so no outside company can reproduce it. Everything on CARE Nursing is written to teach and to test exam knowledge. It is not medical advice for any actual person, not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for your own professional judgement, your employer’s policies and procedures, or a qualified clinician’s decision in real patient care. Do not use a practice question, rationale or exhibit to make a decision about a real patient.

Every question is written from a recorded, authoritative source and carries a traceable link back to the specific fact it tests. Those sources include the NCSBN test plans, federal regulation and government health agencies, professional-body clinical guidelines, and current nursing reference texts.

Each question then goes through an independent review pass whose job is to try to disprove it — wrong keys, ambiguous stems, answers given away by the wording or by an exhibit, and options that are defensible but marked wrong. That review is automated and adversarial, and it catches real defects. It is not the same as sign-off by a licensed clinician, and we do not describe it as though it were.

We work hard on accuracy and we are not going to pretend nothing is ever wrong. If you think a question is wrong, please tell us at info@carenursingprep.com — because every question is traceable to its source, a specific report is something we can genuinely chase down and fix.

The NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN/LVN are single national examinations, and our preparation for them is national.

Nurse aide (CNA) and Medication Aide certification are different: each state runs its own program, its own testing vendor and its own requirements, and scope of practice can differ. We ask which state’s certification you are preparing for and set your account up for it.

To be clear about what that does and does not mean today: our CNA and Medication Aide question banks are national — the questions are the same in every state— and they do not replace your own state’s curriculum, skills checklist or rules. You are responsible for confirming your own eligibility, application, training, certification and exam requirements with the appropriate state authority or testing vendor. We are not that authority and cannot confirm those things for you.

Use CARE Nursing to study. That is what it is for, and normal studying — practising, retrying questions, taking mock exams, reading rationales, taking your own notes, using it on your own devices — is exactly what you have bought and needs no permission from us.

What we ask you not to do:

• Share your account, or let anyone else study on your access.
• Copy, republish, sell, resell or redistribute our questions, rationales or exhibits.
• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract our content, whether by hand or with software.
• Try to get around access controls, plan limits, payment, or anything else that gates the product.
• Use the service to build or train a competing question bank or product.
• Break the site, interfere with other people’s use of it, or attack our systems.

If an account is used this way we may suspend or close it. Where the problem is a genuine misunderstanding we would much rather email you about it first, and we will.

The questions, rationales, clinical exhibits and illustrations, mock exams, study materials, site content, and the software and design of the product are ours, and are protected by copyright and other rights. Buying a plan gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them to study for the duration of your access. It does not transfer ownership of anything.

We do not claim ownership of things that are not ours. Examination names, organisation names, and trademarks — including NCLEX, NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN and NCSBN — belong to their respective owners, and we use them only to describe the exams we prepare candidates for. Statutes, regulations, public standards and third-party source publications remain the property of their own authors and publishers.

We improve the product continuously. That means we add and revise questions, fix errors we find or you report, and change how features look and work. Content may be corrected or replaced during your access period — that is us doing our job, not us taking something away.

The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of a technical problem, and we may depend on third parties (hosting, payments, email) that can have their own outages. We will keep any such interruption as short as we reasonably can.

We will not take away access you have paid for. If we ever discontinue a product or make a change that materially removes something you bought, we will contact you and put it right — by restoring access, extending it, or refunding the affected purchase. The exception is an account closed for the misuse described in section 10.

We provide CARE Nursing with real care and we stand behind it, but we cannot promise it is free of every error or that it will suit every person’s circumstances. To the extent the law allows, the service and its content are provided as they are, without warranties we have not expressly given in these terms.

We are not responsible for exam results, licensing or certification decisions, employment outcomes, or decisions you make in clinical practice. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim relating to CARE Nursing is limited to the amount you paid us for the access the claim relates to.

Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — in which case those limitations do not apply to you.

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects access you have already paid for, we will tell you rather than relying on you noticing a new date. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
