Why there's no single blueprint
Medication Aide has no federal or national standard at all — not even a floor, the way OBRA-87 sets one for CNA. The credential itself doesn't exist uniformly across states; where a state has created the role, that state alone defines its scope, its approved medication list, and its own training and testing requirements. There is no single national percentage-of-test breakdown to present here, so we don't.

Is there a national Medication Aide exam?
No. Unlike the NCLEX (one national exam) or even CNA (a federal training floor administered per state), Medication Aide is not a uniform credential at all — it doesn't exist in every state. Naming varies by state too (Medication Aide, Certified Medication Aide, MA-C, QMAP, and other titles all refer to versions of this role). Where a state does recognize it, that state alone defines its scope, its approved medication list, and its training/testing requirements.
Does every state offer this credential?
No. Medication Aide only exists where a state has created the role — typically as additional medication-administration authority granted to CNAs or similar caregivers.
